How MGT Insurance's accounting team got out of the “doing”
Malleable published a profile of MGT Controller Gregory Schroeder and the accounting team’s use of agentic operations for journal entries, overdue-bill triage, duplicate-payment checks, and claim-check processing. Our three-person team has built more than 50 operations without engineering involvement, saving approximately 30 hours each month.
The piece traces the team’s progression from early experiments with chatbots to operations connected directly to NetSuite, with accountants reviewing the work before entries are posted. Gregory also explains how reducing repetitive data entry and coordination gives the team more time to interpret results and advise MGT leadership.
